The University of Surrey, Guildford has 98% of its research considered world leading.

There are three faculties making up the university:

Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences
Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences

The university is spread over three sites

Stag Hill (Set in landscape grounds with a lake)
Hazel Farm
Manor Park (Home to the £36 million Surrey Sports Park)

A great emphasis is placed on work experience, with the majority of courses incorporating a placement year.

All sites are within walking distance to the town centre, and there is a frequent bus service between campus and the main railway station, running into the early hours of the morning.There are plenty of shops, bars and clubs located in the town centre, which is just over 30 minutes away from London.
